Ready to POP!

Just a quick update to let you know that Debbie is due with our second girl in 2 and a half weeks, and she sure is ready to pop. We are attempting a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) and have hired a doula to educate and help throughout the process. Yesterday she went into the OB/GYN and her BP was a little high, but she was not showing any sign of pre-eclampsia, and we hope it remains that way. we are hoping also that the baby is not overdue. the doctor gave us one week past the due date of 7/6/10 to go into labor, or the inevitable will happen....c-section. If you have time say a little prayer that we will have the chance to be able to have the natural birthing experience that Debbie has dreamed of. Other than that Bella is doing great and knows well over 4 songs and countless words and even can count to 10, not bad for a two year old, but all in a all she sure is a 2 year old, more with Debbie than I, maybe because they are so much alike. I am nursing my mouth due some major dental work (wisdom teeth, fillings and a crown) And anyone who knows me knows i am just a big baby. I am so blessed to have such a caring and loving wife, she is 9 and 1/2 months pregnant and caring for 2 babies. She is absolutely amazing!, and I love her. All you guys out there, who are married, go give you wife a big kiss. And when she asks what that was for, just tell her, "because".=)

Bella to be Big Sister

Just a quick post to announce that the Garza Family will be adding a new member sometime around July 6, 2010!!! We are very excited to be expecting our second child, and though she doesn't understand it yet, we think Bella will be a great Big Sister to this baby. We will keep you posted as things progress and we find out whether Bella gets a brother or a sister!

Long ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

This year for Halloween, we decided to really get into it, so the whole family dressed up. Bella, as you can see, was the perfect Princess Leia (except for not wanting to keep her Cinnamon Roll hairdo on), Dave was a biker dude (mostly for the excuse to wear a crazy mullet wig and false handlebar mustache), and I was an all-too-convincing Ugly Betty, taking first prize at our church's Halloween party! We had lots of fun and were glad that lots of our family came along to enjoy as well.

Happy Birthday Bella Boo!!!

I know I am late as usual in posting this but I wanted all to know that our little ray of sunshine is now one year old. This year has passed with such speed that I find it hard to realize how much she has changed and in turn how much she has changed us. We are grateful for the amount of pictures we have taken and look forward to catching her smile that brightens my day every time she greets me with it, I am at a loss for word how much I love this little girl and am so grateful Heavenly Father has blessed us so. Happy Birthday Bella Boo, we sure sure do love you!

Updated Finally!!!

We are finally updating our blog. The reason we have not is because we have been so busy with new jobs and school and Bella,  who is now all over the place. First, Debbie and I have been working for a new company - her as a project coordinator and me handling marketing and leases. Bella has a new Nanny, who is great - as a matter of fact, she is the wife of the Spanish Branch President in our church. Bella has been growing like a weed, and has a mouth full of teeth, which she has shown to use quite proficiently on daddy's nose. She is now 11 months old, and 24 pounds, and the size of a 2 year old. She is proving the dominance of the Towne genes. Here is a copy of her picture showing her superfan-ness and her future school.  Although her grandma dressed her like a boy, she still wins the cutest little devil contest.

Half a year and half grown!

Bella is six months old now and she is growing like a weed, she weighs 19lbs and is 271/4 inches long! She has such a boisterous laugh and is babbling like a brook and loves to grab anything within her reach with a death grip. She also had her first trip to the zoo in her new tricked out jog stroller in which she promptly chewed on the straps to taste if this new ride was good enough to fall asleep in, which it must have, she promptly fell asleep. She has also has began to eat rice cereal, and organic sweet potatoes, which she loves to spit little chunks of neon orange sludge all over her chair and her mommy. Although she has been very healthy up to this point, she has received her first ear infection, which has not been pleasant for her normally smiling face, but she did have a blast with the paper on the exam room table and laughed with the nurse until she was sure everyone had heard. She also rendered her pediatrician speechless with her cuteness once again. We sure do love her and hope we bring just as much joy to her life as she does ours.

Fine, Fabulous and Five months old!

It is hard to believe that our little Bella is 5 months old today, time sure is flying. I now undrstand why parents always say cherish every moment, because they are gone before you know it. Bella is so fun she has such a boisterous laugh loves to smile at her daddy. She thinks her feet are the most interesting thing. She rubs her eyes wth both hands when she is sleepy and it makes me just want to squeeze her so hard for being so cute (I won't pull a Lenny from "of mice..."). I am so very grateful for everyday I am with her, and I am so blessed to have her in my life. I thank God and Debbie everyday for giving me such a beautiful daughter. Happy 5 months, Baby Bella Boo....We love you!
